Passengers of international network

Any person desiring entering or going out from Algiers must be holder of a title of travelling (passport) on the way of validity, bearing a visa of entrance for the national submitted for this formality.

    National

  • Miner children (the majority civil in Algiers is fixed to 19 years old-01 day) traveller or accompanied of a person apart from fathers or the legal guardian, are submitted to
    the paternal authorization when leaving the national territory.
  • Miner children aged more than (15) years old must be provided with an individual passport.
  • If you possess a double nationality (Algerian and other), you must use the same document of travelling (passport) that you presented at the entrance.

Foreigners

  • The duration of validity of Algerian visa varies between (03) months and (02) years.
  • The duration of stay in Algiers doesn’t overstep (03) months.
  • If you wish prolonging your stay come closer to the services of the province (prefecture) in order to ask for a visa of prolongation.
  • If you wish to visit the regions of South Algeria you are obliged to be attached with the tourism agency duly authorized in this effect.

Passengers of domestic network

The identity card and the embarkation card are necessary documents for the police formalities.
Any person authorized to take a handgun in the embarkation travelling as a private traveller or in a mission must put it back to the police service at the borders which is
charged of carrying out the formalities of transport and of putting back in the arrival.
Important information

Your contribution:

  • Facilitate the work of the agents of control, security at the level of road block, of access to the parking areas of air terminal (portiques and scanners) and along your
    movement till the embarkation.
  • Avoid the parking near the air terminal and its immediate surroundings.
  • Avoid to park your vehicle in the outlying of the park, if you travel for an indeterminate duration.
  • Choose a remote place from the closure.
  • Be sure that your baggage is well closed before the departure assuring you about the content.
  • Any abandoned baggage is considered as a suspect baggage.
  • Not to accept the transportation of a baggage or an object which is not yours, make the recognition of your baggage at the bottom of the plane.
